From an early age, Josh was drawn to entrepreneurship. At just 8 years old, he unknowingly started his first business—renting out Nintendo games to neighborhood kids. Though short-lived (shut down by his dad, a military veteran), the spark for business never faded. By his late teens, Josh was fascinated with computers and started building custom machines, eventually obtaining a business license with the dream of launching his own tech company. While that venture never fully took off, the lessons he learned fueled his future success.
A Career Pivot That Changed Everything
After earning his MBA, Josh built a successful career in education, earning awards and a near six-figure salary. He had stability, but deep down, he knew he was meant for something bigger. In 2012, he took a leap of faith, leaving behind his comfortable job to pursue something greater. He joined Infusionsoft in sales, working directly with business owners and learning the mechanics of digital marketing, automation, and scaling businesses.
However, corporate life wasn’t the right fit. He quickly realized that following orders, questioning management, and feeling unchallenged were not the ingredients of a fulfilling career. The final push came when a new employer demanded he sacrifice time with his son to work longer hours. Given an ultimatum—his career or his family—Josh made a bold decision. He walked away for good.
Building A Multi-Million Dollar Business
Determined to carve his own path, Josh started consulting on Upwork, earning just $1,700 at first. It wasn’t much, but it was a start. Through relentless study and action, he learned from top marketing minds like Ryan Deiss and surrounded himself with the best in the business.
With a deep understanding of paid advertising, digital marketing, and business strategy, he built a highly successful e-commerce marketing agency from 2013-2021, helping brands increase revenue, optimize their operations, and scale profitably. His ability to identify opportunities and implement strategies that delivered results made him a sought-after expert.
Since then, he has worked with renowned business leaders, spoken at top marketing conferences, and helped scale numerous brands through strategic growth, automation, and investment.
